The reason why the School was named after Alexandra Kazickas

We honored Mrs. Alexandra and Dr. Joseph Kazickas family of the East End of Long Island where now about 500 Lithuanians reside. The Kazickas family has been known for hailing Lithuania. They are proud of their Lithuanian roots and contribute to preserve Lithuanian culture and language. The Family shares their wisdom, love and wealth with Lithuanians in Lithuania and beyond.
The Kazickas family story shows that Dr. J. Kazickas learned from his ancestors to aspire to progress in life for himself and his family. With his wife Alexandra he raised four sons and a daughter. He was determined to get the best education, to succeed in business and enter the higher society. He obviously could have never achieved all this by himself if it was not for the devotion of his wife Alexandra. So the decision was made to name the school after Alexandra Kazickas.

You can read about Mrs. A. and Dr. J. Kazickas Family in their book "The Odyssey of Hope“
